Tucson tree care
We thin, shape and prune palo verde, mesquite and every desert tree so they stay healthy and wind resistant. Removals, stump grinding and full cleanup are all part of the job.
Pruned right, not hacked back
An overgrown canopy is the first thing to catch a monsoon gust, and a heavy, top heavy palo verde can split or uproot in one storm. We prune for structure and airflow so wind passes through the tree instead of pushing it over. The goal is a healthier tree that lasts, not a stub that resprouts into a mess.
What we handle
From a light seasonal trim to a full removal, we handle the whole job and leave the yard looking like we were never there.
We open up dense canopies before storm season so wind moves through instead of catching like a sail. It is the single best thing you can do to keep a mature desert tree standing.
Young palo verde and mesquite need shaping early so they grow strong branch angles and a balanced crown. We prune for the tree the desert wants, never a boxed off hedge.
When a tree is dead, hollow or crowding the foundation, we take it down in sections and grind the stump below grade. Nothing is left to trip over or send up new shoots.
Every cut branch, chip and pile of leaves leaves with us. We rake and blow the work area so you come home to a clean yard, not a heap of brush.
